EL 3517 Learning Portfolio
So as part of our seminary education classes, we develop a 'Learning Portfolio' that we come back to and reassess after each Education class. It's actually a pretty neat and interesting idea that really helps you sit back and say, 'ok, where am I with this concept really?' because there is no sense of judgement and if you really feel like, 'I know absolutely nothing about this,' you can say that with a knowledge that it will be well received.
With that, I've linked to my latest. For Sections 2-4, I ended up keeping the original comments in the documents, but have added to many of them to reflect my current understanding. I do feel like my ability to feel comfortable in developing teachable content has improved greatly (whether or not the actual content is good is still up for debate! ).
Section I: My vision for theological education is that it should be inclusive, interactive, respectful of, and encouraging towards, multiple viewpoints, and it should be grounded in a Biblical understanding.
For EL3517, my projects included this very blog, along with the Immigration Bible Study
Sections II, III, and IV: Each of these links will take you to a separate Google Document for each of the three broad areas.
Knowledge Competencies
Skill Competencies
Attitude Compentencies
Section V: Course Evaluation
